Ez a nyomtatvány Luther kis katekizmusának első magyar nyelvű kiadása. A főrész a címlevél után kezdődik a cím ismétlésével. Kérdés-felelet formában az evangélikus hit alapvető tételeit hat fejezetben tárgyalja: (1) A tízparancsolatról – (2) A hitnek ágairól – (3) Az imádságról – (4) A keresztségről – (5) Az oldozatról – (6) Az Úr vacsorájáról. Ezután függelékként "A keresztyén ember felkelésének és lefekvésének módja" és "Az asztal áldásnak és az étel után való hálaadásnak módja" ugyancsak párbeszédben. Befejezésül "A Szentírásból szerzetett tábla, melyből minden rend és minden állapotba való ember megismerheti, mi legyen az ő tiszte és dolga." E művet – bár neve benne nem szerepel – az irodalomtörténet a nyelvi ismertetőjegyek alapján Heltai Gáspár fordításának tartja. A magyar szöveg kevés toldással és jelentéktelen változtatással híven követi Luthert. (Hungarian)
