Körösi Csoma Sándor szülőhelye, Kovászna (Erdély, Románia) által adományozott emlékoszlop megerősíti Magyarország és Dardzsiling régóta tartó kapcsolatát és biztosítja a két település jövőbeli együttműködését is. Kovászna és Dardzsiling - ahol a tudós elhunyt - testvérvárosi megállapodást kötött egymással. Dardzsiling önkormányzata a temető melletti útszakaszt Körösi Csoma Sándorról nevezi el, tisztelegve a magyar tudós emléke előtt. (Hungarian)
