A főrész a keresztség, házasságkötés, gyónás kiszolgáltatására, a betegek vigasztalására, a temetésre és a halálraítéltek gondozására vonatkozó előírásokat, imádságokat és beszédeket tartalmazza. Heltai Gáspár latin előszavának utalása szerint ez egy korábban már megjelent Agenda (RMNy 85) bővített és javított kiadása. Heltai ugyanitt azt is bejelenti, hogy újra átvette a kolozsvári nyomda vezetését, és ezt a könyvet, mint annak első termékét ajánlja a lelkipásztoroknak. Heltainak ezt a munkáját Sörös Béla mint a legrégibb magyar nyelvű nyomtatott agendát írta le, amely a magyarországi reformáció első évtizedeinek gyakorlatát rögzítette. (Hungarian)
